problem with printer?

I have a Canon Pixma MP150 all in one printer,scanner,copier..I have tried to print off photos from my digital camera & internet etc but when they come out the colours are different from what im seeing on photos or on screen & there are lines across the paper.i,ve checked & unclogged the printer heads but still having the same problem..Any suggestions anyone.???Also, my niece wants me to print a photo onto a t-shirt,can i put her t-shirt into my all in one printer & copy onto it???

    1. The cartridges are bad or low on ink. Replace them and the discoloration should be corrected.

    2. Put the shirt in the printer and you will ruin it. Buy some printable iron ons and print on those.

    LOL please do not put the t-shirt through the printer!!!!!!!!!!!! the way printing onto a t-shirt works is you need certain paper you get at a store (sales associate should be able to help you). You print the image onto this paper, which you can then lay on a shirt and it will transfer it over from the paper to the shirt. And believe it or not, ink can expire, and you may need to get a new ink cartridge to make it appear better.

    The lines on the paper tell you that you are low on ink. To get a picture onto a t-shirt, iron the picture you want on it. It will work! Make sure the ink cartridges are in the right place – black with black colours with colours.

    Note: Have you bought the correct ink cartridge and is it the right way in?
