Digital Photo Printer

‘problem’

I have a Canon Pixma MP150 all in one printer,scanner,copier..I have tried to print off photos from my digital camera & internet etc but when they come out the colours are different from what im seeing on photos or on screen & there are lines across the paper.i,ve checked & unclogged the printer heads but still having the same problem..Any suggestions anyone.???Also, my niece wants me to print a photo onto a t-shirt,can i put her t-shirt into my all in one printer & copy onto it???

my printer is a DPP-EX50, when i load paper into the paper tray (other than sony specified) it tells me that paper tray is empty. I have tried one sheet at a time and then 10 sheets and so on and it still doesn’t work. Does it have to be Sony paper to work?
