Digital Photo Printer

I know there are some ‘virtual printer driver’ programs that look like another named printer and can print web-pages, word-processor documents or anything to PDF files instead of paper, but do you know one that can print directly to a set of JPEG images of the pages, one JPEG per page?

I’m experimenting with displaying text/web pages on a digital photo frame, JPEG CDs or flash drive in a DVD Player and a few other things.

I have a new PC with Windows Vista Home Basic already installed, only now I am unable to connect PC extras (printer,digital photo card reader, phone) . Each time I try to install anything it says err no drivers found for this device. I have searched my computer, used the discs that came with my equipment, called the manufacturing companies all to no avail. This new program is really pushing my buttons so to speak. So does anyone no where I can obtain the vista compatible drivers?

i dont know what kind of camera my parents have, and would like to buy them a photo printer for christmas – without having to ask, it might then be too obvious… is there a product that works with most cameras?

I want to be say out in the wilderness someplace with no a/c power available and run a typical digital camera printer. I’m thinking I want to take a digital photo, do what ever I want to it on a laptop and be able to print it. All without connecting to a wall outlet or my car battery. How about a portable laptop printer? Do any printers work on USB power? Any ideas?

I’ll soon be traveling and I am shopping for a digital camera and photo printer. Since I don’t have experiencing buying them, I’d like some advice. Thanks!

There are some “pro” printers, made by Epson and others, that make very good black and white prints from digital photos. But they cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars, well beyond my budget.

The usual home printers and printer docks that I’ve seen in the $100 dollar range do well with color photos, but just can’t make a decent black and white print – they appear “washed out” (low contrast) and have a bluish cast instead of making true black.

Is it just having a printer that has the proper optimization to do black and white, or is there some software manipulations(s) I can try?

I want to work with graphics as a hobby. I have Photoshop Elements 6. I would like to learn how to design clip art and graphics–does anyone have any information about what kind of printer and/or software I need?

My friends have a digital camera, but no computer. I think giving them the photo printer (like the EasyShare by Kodak) would be a great gift, but the ones I’ve seen so far need a computer. This may be a dumb question, and I am aware of that, lol.. but I’m hoping that it exists?

I’m looking into buying a digital photo printer, need advice from people who have one. Please let me know in your experience which one/ones are the best. I bought and all-in-one printer from Dell that prints horrible pictures. I’m a photographer looking for a quality printer that will last.
